Comment
You can actually exit EG here but it is a bit tricky. If you hop in at the obvious points you hop in between layers. Depending on where you hopped in you can use one or more of the stairs and eventually use the staircase at the top to enter the next room. Sometimes you need to fiddle a bit with jumping down again and use stairs. If you can visibly enter the room above you can walk down again and you're out of EG.
